Looking for Merino knit fabric

After 7 years, my favourite teal colour 100% merino knit jumper has worn away at the elbows and is not fixable. I have not been able to find a replacement so have decided to make one but cannot find any fine merino knit in the Northern Hemishpere.  I am sure someone has mentioned a supplier in the passt, but I can't remember.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be overjoyed.

Ottobre sell merino wool jersey in their Etsy shop, but it is very expensive. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Ottobredesign?section_id=23792331

@Starryfish , I got all excited with the Ottobre site until I realised that the price shown is for 40cm!! Thus making it nearly  £51 a metre, and I'd need at least 1.5m.  Maybe I'll hold on until I am a bit richer.

@Efemera the New Zealand prices are much better even with shipping but I will have to check the duty costs.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Ooh I hadn’t noticed it was for 40 cms.   Looks nice though.  Just tell yourself there weren’t a lot of colours left!   :)

I bought some from sewessential.co.uk just before Christmas. If you search for “Isabella” it should come up. I think they still have some.

Isabella is nice, but it isn't pure wool only 20%, 80% viscose. It is on the thin side as well. Fabric godmother sells it and will send samples if you want to try it.

Thank you for the information about the Isabella, it is interesting how much the price per metre varies: Minerva £19.99; Fabric Godmother £16; Sewessential £13.80.  I am looking for a thin knit so I think I may get some.
