Corduroy button-through skirt

This was based on a skirt I drafted a couple of years ago. A-line and button-through, I used it for an embroidered chambray. But when I saw this corduroy online, I immediately thought of that pattern but wanted it longer and straight.

I loved these skirts when I was a (little!) younger.

Does it go with my new tie-neck blouse? I’m not sure, looking for opinions.

I don't really wear skirts these days but I love yours - cut, style, colour, fit, everything.

Thanks @Vezelay and @SkoutSews for the nice words of encouragement. In that case I might use them as a basis for a 6PAC.  :D
