One of the reasons I was very keen to move is that our new house isn`t far from Higgs and Higgs shop. All that is on hold for a while so I had a little wander over to their website. They have a lot of tempting stuff and this has definitely taken my eye:-

I have a piece of that, but with dark blue embroidery on (the same) denim chambray. I waited for ages a year ago and they eventually had a sale. I just can't bring myself to commit it to a pattern now! It is as lovely as it looks.

@Efemera
I've never worked with any sort of border print. I suppose the most obvious thing would be a skirt. What would you do?

How about a simple long or three-quarter sleeve tunic, to show off the border on hem and sleeves? From a quick search, something like
NL6086
or
Burda 8100?

If you want something similar but cheaper then I bought
this
last year. He does sell various sized pieces and it is denim as apposed to chambray but not too heavy. I have it earmarked to make a shift dress. Probably
this
which I have made a few times.
