Fun! I've only done one quilt with flying geese, and I generally dislike triangles because you have to  be so fussy with measurements to get the points right. This will definitely be an opportunity for my stated goal of improving my accuracy with this project. And I've got a new flying geese ruler, so I'll get to play with that.

Well I've chosen the fabric

I am going to have problems finding the centre colour in future but who knows what the next one will need

Sorry pic is a bit dark

Am I first?  It’s a miracle!  I’m loving this year’s BOM.

Now back to the scraps...

@Bjay I've just been looking at the very same grey fabric for my border fabric, small world!

Just caught up with this.  It looks very difficult like a good challenge :S

Oh a surprise-forgot it was the start of a new month! (I’m forgetting what day it is :D) This block looks lovely @Iminei - thank you. Might save it for a wet day. Some nice new blue material arrived for this quilt, so I’m all set.

I got all the cutting done this afternoon, and just a handful of geese, but I should get the block finished tomorrow (I hope). :)

As an aside, I found sewing a smidge inside the line on the geese gave me a better result when folding over the square. Had to unpick the first one I did though! :S :)

@Lisalou1965  I've said 'distructions' (have never had to spell it before) for many years. For me a a cross between directions and instructions  :)

Mine's done! Came up just shy of 12.5" all around, not enough to need to worry about fixing it though.  I used my new Flying Geese ruler from Creative Grids and thought that made it easy.

As promised, we had a wet day here, so I’ve made my April block. Really liked this block, but couldn’t do a whole quilt like this- too fiddly for me! Great tutorial @Iminei  :D Block turned out just a little big - more like 12.75 “ square

I was about to mention that but couldn't get the right words. Top right block a turn too many.  Lovely block and I like the colours  :)
