The bag she made in the video above I think is fabulous, although the vid runs fast and is quite tough on the old eyes. And ooer those funky stockings  :o

I have not managed to do anything like that. I think she uses a Japanese copy of a Singer model 15 (because of the four leaf clover on the face plate), it's a favorite for quilting and free motion. The 201 is suppose to free motion very well, a few on the old forum managed to adjust their 201 for the purpose, as well as others. I did manage it for a while, but last time I tired to use the darning foot I got very small stitches and the machine just didn't want to behave.

Wow, that looks amazing. I can't even work out where to place the needle to do blanket stitch applique  :D... I'm in awe
