Husqvarna Screw Problem
« on: April 20, 2020, 13:19:18 PM »
I have an Opal 670 and keep having problems with the needle not staying in the machine. This happened a couple of summers ago and I brought it to the dealer where I purchased it (they've since closed for good, not because of the pandemic) but she didn't really fix the issue. I eventually managed to sort it out myself, but haven't used the machine a whole lot since.

I started sewing masks a few weeks ago and the needle just fell out again (it's so frustrating, I was almost finished with my next batch for donation). I tried to screw it back in, but it looks like it's coming uncoiled and it just keeps spinning when I try to turn it. I didn't even know a screw could uncoil, I thought they were one piece.

I've been e-mailing sewing shops, but not having much luck and I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions.

Thank you! I've e-mailed them, but I think I'll try calling too.
