This will be my 'lock-down jumper'

So since I finished my last project I've got several things lined up. The one making the most progress is a jumper for myself. A DROPS pattern (why do I do this to myself?) called Lazy Sunday Afternoon, in a dove grey wool from WYS.

Front and back are done, now I've to cast on sleeves.

***Does anyone else struggle with DROPS patterns? They aren't incorrect, just written in such a way I find them hard to follow.

I've also got a complex colourwork pair of socks on the go, but my brain just can't seem to achieve the level of concentration for them right now. And a cowl for my daughter but the yarn has some silk in it, and my hands are so dry I'm fuzzing up the yarn if I try so that might have to wait.

I'll get some photos when I can, but the pattern link is here:

Best wishes to all , keep knitting

Ohh that look nice, I know what you mean with drops patterns, I usually end up rewriting them before I start knitting them but I rarely knit jumpers mainly do mittens socks scarves etc.

Mainly because if I am going to knit a jumper I feel I will still use my knitting machines but at the moment I have no room to put one up.

I've only used a Drops pattern once but as it was my first ever attempt at  top down, no seams knitting the pattern was different anyway.  I didnt have any difficulty with it though.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures.
Life's too short for ironing.

Finished and stitched together - blocking probably Wednesday, so photos then.
Might be a record finish, having had a lot of time to sit and do it  :)

Washed and dried, and shown here hung over the kind of white top I'd probably wear it over.
Now to the next project  . . .

Lovely! I love Drops wool and find the patterns ok, but I only knit children’s things. Don’t have the patience to knit for myself, but your jumper is great. :D
