I have seen this dress on the Seasalt website and like the fact that it is a loose dress but doesn't appear to be too tent-like.  I think those are princess seams at the front and I love the in-seam front pockets.  Does anyone know of a similar pattern?  I have seen the TATB Stevie tunic/dress but it seems to be more flowy/loose than I'm looking for and just has side seams.

They look like should princess seams to me.  In-seam pockets are easy enough to add.

Princess seams usually go over the bust apex, the seams on that dress are further apart.

It should be easy enough to slightly taper the pieces from hip level down - I often increase the taper to make the skirt wider - but from hip level down it can be anything from straight down to very flared.

Close, but may be not enough for you.  I'll keep looking.

The dress has shoulder princess seams and you can see more views here.

The Burda 6418 is lovely, though perhaps a bit more fitted than I was looking for.  But it is pretty good so I've saved it for future reference.  Thank you, @UttaRetch.

I thought maybe you could relax the fit through the waist.

This

is a slightly different direction in which to go and you can see the line drawings here.  There is probably a closer 'indie' pattern, but that's not my thing.
