Where I can get 1000m reels of an embroidery thread that matches Madeira Rayon 40  colour 1293!

Its a beautiful Dark Turquoise which has been the first of my treasure chest to completely run out.

Madeira dont make this colour in the 1000 m reels so it'll have to be another manufacturer ...

Ive tried the thread conversion charts but need an answer that is gettable in the UK

I've checked my 1293 against the Marathon thread chart and would recommend their 1275.
Due to a sporadic supply situation on 1000m Madeira during lockdown I have used quite a bit of the Marathon range (hence having their thread chart) and would say that the thread is comparable but is looser wound on the spool than Madeira which can cause knotting in the machine. So Madeira cones work fine on the top of the machine but Marathon always go on a seperate thread stand to give the tangles chance to sort themselves before entering the machine.
I can recommend BSK for supply of Marathon spools, £2.79 for 1000m.

 Madeira 1090 looks very close to 1293 on my thread wound Madeira shadecard and is available in 1000m. Might be a possibility?

@Iminei , on my shadecard 1090 is in column 8, immediately below 1293 and above 1088. If you search Madeira 1090 it's available from several places as a 1000m  spool.

Your shadecard looks to be specific to your thread treasure chest, mine ( purchased in May from Barnyarns), has 18 columns of thread in place of the 11 in yours. You could always ring a supplier ( Barnyarns/ Lords Sewing/Hobkirks etc) and ask their opinion of the closest match. These people are usually really helpful in my experience. Good luck x

A search for 'Madeira 1293' comes up with  Bambers Sewing Machine Centre selling *** Classic 40 1000m Deep Aqua 1293 for £3.69 ****

So the thread shade that you need is available in 1000m!!
