Something easy to knit on front of TV

I like to knit in front of TV and I'm ready to start a new project.
I wondered if anyone knows of a reasonably easy pattern for a cardigan or body warmer using double knitting wool they could recommend?

Do you use Ravelry?
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/knitting

There are thousands of patterns on there, many downloadable; free or paid for.
Search for cardigan and then refine by yarn weight, size, one colour (to be easier) or anything else you think might be appropriate.

Hi,
I do use Ravelry and have had a search around, but the only pattern I liked is no longer available :(
I did however, find Pattern hayfield 8191 - which is a waistcoat with a deep cable border and pockets.
Its slightly more complicated but is more interesting than all plain stocking stitch.
Many thanks again for your reply.

I find there's quite an art to choosing a pattern that is interesting enough to not be boring to knit, but straightforward enough to not demand constant attention while you're watching TV!
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

Is it September already? That's when the knitting season starts here  ;)
