Whilst quarantined like everyone else I decided to make good use of the time and cleared out and reorganised my stash and was delighted to find that I had enough blues and whites to make another Compass Rose table runner...this time for one of my daughters' whose decor is sharp, clean blues, whites and greys. I haven't given it to her yet...I may get Mr.Ruby to drop it off on her doorstep one night on his way home from work as he passes her house...but then again, I'd like to wait and give it to her in person once this is all over or restrictions eased a bit.

Look at those points! I am in awe.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. The first Compass Rose table runner I did which was for me has suffered because even though I did quite a bit of echo quilting it just hasn't survived the push and shove of fruit bowls, and numerous washes from spilt coffees etc so as this runner is destined for a young family whose table serves as an eating place, a dolly planet, a homework station, a crafting table and a dinosaur landing place I decided it would need some heavy, close quilting to help it be as utilitarian as possible as well as pretty and serviceable. I think it's going to survive the fruit bowls and dinosaurs.
