Lots of free patterns from this designer, here

ABC printing are now offering PDF printing. 20% of first order with code SEWGOOD. But very expensive looks as if it about £5 per AO sheet so not a company i will be using.

I know these have been probably been discussed in the past but can't seem to find the thread. Finally admitting that bending over my existing table is a pain, literally.
So, who has one and were did you get it from, looking ideally for an electric one with a large work area. I have seen a few ont interweb but reviews vary from c*** to excellent and there doesn't seem to be any were these days, apart from Ikea, that you can go look. (I hate Ikea but if needs must i will grit my teeth and go).

I have bought from here a few times and never had a problem, dispatched same day arrived next. But i placed an order on 11 April and it still hasn't arrived, it is marked as unfulfilled on my account page. I have e mailed them twice and tried to ring but got no response from either method.
Has anyone else had problems recently?

Has anyone ever come across an adjustable height chair with just 4 legs and castors. I am finding the one i have, which has the bog standard 5 legs, is starting to annoy me as every time i move between machine the legs are catching on my table or drawers and i spend ages shuffling round to get the feet in the right position so i can sew comfortably.

Showing my ignorance but what exactly is a jelly roll, is it a long strip of different fabrics pre sewn? I have seen a picture of a dress made from jelly roll which i would like to try. 

Another project that has seemed to take a while to complete. First i thought i could get away with using a "normal" zip that i already had, but not to be. It was just too narrow. Every where seemed to have sold out of bag zips but eventually managed to find one.
Then i miss read the instructions, too many p's, you use Pellon flex foam, Pellon shape flex and Peltex. I read cut the Pellon 1 inch smaller than the fabric, it was cut the Peltex 1 inch smaller. By the time i realised i had cut the foam and didn't have any left to recut.
Ordered some more from a shop 9 miles down the road and it eventually arrived today, 8 days after ordering. It had travelled to Manchester and then Leicester before coming back to Wakefield.
Anyway it is now done and crochet hooks safely stored. I did hack the pattern a bit, added a few extra pockets and a zipped section and used fabric to create the hook pouches. So nothing like the one on the website here
