I've wanted to make this for a long time, and in the middle of sewing the Amelia Teadress, I decided it was the perfect time.
I'd forgotten exactly what a pain it was to trace Burda patterns, but it's done.
Then I realised after cutting out, I hadn't added S/A's. I'd done a larger size, and who needs 5/8" s/a's anyway....
I've made this fabric up before, but can't remember what I made - this is the last bit, apart from a handkerchief size bit which may trim a top.
I caused myself difficulty by a) following Burda instructions - they have you gather both skirts separately :S, and b) changing to an elasticated back without thinking of the logistics. Oh, and I think an overlocked rolled hem would be nicer on the ties.
All done now, just need to make the top - more tracing :S.

That is lovely, Jessie. Burda does great patterns but I am not up to tracing from that 'wiring diagram' and would forget to add seam allowance, too. As for the instructions, :angry:
