Title: how to calculate fabric stretch
Post by: sewmuchmore on September 19, 2020, 18:51:39 PM
Hope this is the right place but i thought this (http://ttps://www.sewdiy.com/blog/calculate-fabric-stretch-percentage) might be useful to some of you when working with stretch fabric.

Is this (https://www.sewdiy.com/blog/calculate-fabric-stretch-percentage) the right link? Yours wasn't working.  :)

Ooh @sewmuchmore thank you for this. I am starting out with knits and need all the help I can get with understanding about stretch.  :)

I watched that yesterday, must have the same newsletter @sewmuchmore!

I have a ruler with the markings for stretch that I got from www.sew-i.biz via Instagram. There is also a print out with measurements somewhare that I printed off. I find the ruler easier as it just sits in my box of bits and pieces.
