I can do the basic stitches.

You're several steps ahead of me there, Ploshkin.  I don't know how to hold the hook and yarn.  I want to hold them the same as when knitting.   

You and I could make up that special group that sits close to the teacher's desk, Fajita.

Yesterday, I unpicked the three squares on each corner to replace them with the new background fabric.  I wasn't going to replace the five in the middle, but you know what it's like, if a job's worth doing... 
I'm going to use the squares I removed in the backing.   

Thanks, Imi.  I did that within the rows (one row to the right, one to the left).  I just can't see what is going to happen after I've cut the twisty parts out.   

Oh, my!  I've just seen your finished work.  If mine is half as beautiful, I think I'll keep it up all year!

I've had this problem, too, Greybird, also with Avast.

I'd missed yours, Maliw, but I was just having a mooch around in the HOF when I came across it and very nice it is too.

Here is my entry, finished this afternoon.  Why do I leave everything till the last minute?
