I've just cut out the 8 panels for the long skirt, I'll have get some lining for it locally. The fabric is a lovely soft wool so it should be warm and cosy. Anglian Fashion Fabrics had 20% off wool fabrics last week when I bought it :)

Ooh lovely, @Silver Rose ! I also have a green tweed skirt already cut out and ready to sew but no time to get to it at the moment.... :angry: hope you get your lining soon! Look forward to seeing pics of yours (mine probably won't get sewn until next year now :( ) xx

The skirt part is almost finished, I tacked the side seams and fitted it yesterday, also cut out the lining and have got to finish the french seams before I put skirt and lining together. It looks good, it is a simple pattern but that's what I like.
