I'm reluctantly putting the little Brother Home Locking Machine Model 523 (3-thread but not differential feed) up for sale.
Its very easy to thread and runs efficiently and quietly.  I have the instruction book.  (Its also very cute.)
Asking £85 ONO.   Happy to supply more photos or information.  Reason for selling is that I have 2 x other overlockers :ninja:

Technical Help / Re: V neck on a knit tunic

This thread is very well timed for me - I'm trying to make a tunic with a very lightweight knit.  Can @Bodgeitandscarper (or anyone else) please tell me what wonder tape you would recommend using to stabilise the seams?

@Greybird   thanks for the point about sleeves.  I have some black jersey with pink flower print which illmuse for the top yoke and sleeves and make the skirt in a solid  pink linen/poly blend.

This pattern calls for med weight knit fabrics (no more than 30% stretch).
I know that at least 1 TSP'er has made this.
Could it be made up in a woven fabric e.g., polyester?

This is a combination overlocker and cover stitch machine which has the WAVE Stitch.  On another TSP post I've been explaining the problem with the Jet air threading function, but it can absolutely be threaded manually using the Babylock threading wire.  It will come threaded with long threads so cones can be tied on to faciliate threading cones.
I'm posting this to see if there's any interest in buying it.
It comes with extra feet, binding attachment.  I have the original box and packaging.
It can be packed for courier collection at buyer's risk and expense.
some pics are attached and I have more, which would be easier to send by Whatsapp or e-mail if anyone wants to PM me to see them.   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

@Helen M
Is this still available?  If so, may I buy it please?

A while ago (2 years or so) I'm aware of one similar being sold for around £400 in England.

If it can be packed for international shipping and If offered on  eBay it reaches the US market where buyers will pay a better price.

I saw this & I thought you may be interested! / The Makerist patterns

[quote  My Pfaff presser foot lifts automatically when the foot pedal is released, it's brilliant for stitching very, very slowly or even just for turning corners.
@Lachica   what Pfaff model do you have ?
