Sunny but wafty, and 14°c now.

Busy sewing for a change - making a Mog costume for my little grandson - but must cut the grass this afternoon.

Cloudy and 8°C.

Today will be working out what/how I'm making a halloween costume for my grandson - nothing like giving me plenty of notice  :S
He's going to be Mog the cat from Meg and Mog, so black top and trousers with white fur ribbon (ordered yesterday) for the stripes and some black fur edging for the tail and ears.  Still need to decide/find something like a head band or maybe just elastic for aforesaid ears.
Hopefully I do have some black jersey of some sort for the top and trousers - just need some measurements from my daughter now...

A bit of sun, wafty and a bit warmer than yesterday, 8.3°C.  It's currently 10.5° in the greenhouse.

Off to doggy agility this morning, I'd better go with t'OH as otherwise I don't get to talk to anyone all week.

Sunny, but rather wafty, and only 4.8°C.

After being in a quite gloomy forest for a few days, it's rather nice to be back to big open skies, and even the grass looks very bright green.

Normally on a Thursday we'd be going to doggy obedience class with Sasha, but our dog trainer is having more chemo, after she thought the last lot a year (or two?) ago had been successful  :(

I had a delivery of lots more leather yesterday - it is just brown, but it was very very cheap for a huge amount.  First make with it will be a pouch/tool roll/thingiewotsit for my chisels - but maybe not today, today is washing and not doing much else, I is tired after lots of walking.

Hello, I'm back.  I know, you didn't notice I'd gone

Despite lots of rain at Cannock Chase, we did lots and lots of walking - I think I'll be in bed early tonight.  Whilst I love hearing the rain on the motorhome roof, it did wake me up a lot of times the last three nights.
It was a great, but very basic (no electricity, no toilets), campsite - we were the only ones there the last two nights  :)
I also met up with an old friend for lunch on Monday, and we spent three and a half hours chatting - the cafe staff had to turn us out of our "shed" as they were closing up.

@Diane yes, I have to sleep on my left side due to acid reflux, I hate it when it goes down your windpipe, I'm coughing it up for hours  :x

Sunny and 7.5°C.

I hope they give you a bit more than just biscuits for breakfast, @Silver Rose .  And hope you can go home soon.

We're off to Cannock Chase soon, so must go and get ready.

Sunny, 8°C this morning.

No diy or sewing today, getting ready to go away in the motorhome tomorrow.  We're going to Cannock Chase as there's a poodle meetup/walk on Sunday, and one of my friends lives there too, so we shall have a good catch up.
I also need to clip two  :woof: :woof: today.

Technical Help / Re: V neck on a knit tunic

@annieeg I presume you are talking about just stabilising the seams so they don't stretch out as you sew?  In which case, yes, the washaway tape is brilliant if you are using a normal sewing machine.  I also use a tape or ribbon or whatever is to hand for the shoulder seams as you don't want them stretchy.

Congrats @Tamnymore  0_0

I've painted door number three and cut the grass, front and back.  Having a sit down now  0_0  although I'm hungry, so may get my tea, t'OH is out playing guitars with his friends so will get his own tea when he's home.

This is what I've been using, I think it was the cheapest I could find at the time @annieeg
If I'm sewing jersey seams on the overlocker, I don't stabilise them, but I think it would help on a sewing machine.

Cloudy and not so cold today, 11.6°C, definitely not winter here yet, thank goodness!

Off to doggy class this morning, then I suppose I'd better paint door number three.  At some point fairly soon, I'd better get sorted out for going away again in the motorhome on Saturday.
