@Lisalou1965 just take your time and do one step at a time and you'll be fine. It's not hard, just a bit fiddly.

@Iminei thank you for the kind offer but I think I've finished with the purple now.
I've just counted up and I have 15 blocks. Is that right or have I missed one? Looks like I will have to find some scraps, or maybe do something completely different. Or something. :thinking:

Thank you @Lowena . You were quite right when you said it looked fiddly. I found it was. Normally, I have lots of patience with quilt blocks but it's been so hot and humid here recently that my patience dissolved.

Thank you @wrenkins . I wouldn't relish making another one. Really, I should have unpicked a couple of bits and refitted them, but I'd lost patience by then.

At last! I thought I'd never get this one done, but here it is. I ran out of some fabric and had to make do, and I'm not thrilled with how it went together, but it will have to do. I didn't really enjoy making this one, although I like the block itself. I can't imagine making a whole quilt full of them though.

I'm not even going to think about the challenge one until I've done the first two. I dont know how many scrappy bits I'll have until then. It may have to be multi coloured.
