Title: Look What I found!

I've been getting a bit frustrated with the Singer 185k that I've recently been sewing with.  The latest grumble is thread.

I use the larger reels on my Pfaff (they lay horizontally on that and the later Singer), but on the 185k the thread reel stands upright, and tends to 'snatch', the thread, interfering with the tension.

I have very few 'normal' sized reels, but I do remember buying a large bag of them on offer at Abakhan years ago.  Well, this morning I found them!  Yesssss!!  I have an upright chest in the sewing room which has a shallow jewelry lid on top. Lifted it up, and there they were, ready to use with the old girls!

Oh, and I also found a new bulb which may fit the 185k - and hopefully, work!
