Title: Online sewing newsletters- which ones do you like?
Post by: jintie on September 20, 2020, 12:20:10 PM
I like the one I get a daily from TOAST, and now and again from Maker's Atelier. They have links to other interesting stuff.
What do other folk like?

I get a few but usually don’t  read them... they usually aimed at new or novice sewers. There doesn’t seem to be much out there that’s advanced or different.

I don't like anything that clogs up my mailboxes.  I signed up to etsy for reasons unknown, but now think it's time to unsubscribe.

I allow the Barnyarns one to keep dropping into my inbox.  It has some interesting information sometimes and links to useful products.

I find following certain sewing related things on Instagram to be much more helpful these days, both for ideas and inspiration. There are some really talented sewing people to be found on there.

I like the newsletter I get from Seamwork (the same people behind Colette patterns). They have an online magazine, pattern service, and sewing community, but I haven't joined all that yet- I just read the free articles and the emails. I think they have a good mix of beginner and more advanced posts, and they branch out into highlighting the people behind the sewing and the issues they face.
