Title: Quilting with Liberty Fabrics
Post by: fajita on March 16, 2021, 10:33:26 AM
I got a belated birthday gift left on my doorstep this morning- what a lovely surprise it was.

I may be buying fabric in a while - look out Liberty, here I come.  ;)

If it was a birthday present perhaps we shouldn't be discussing the price here ?  -<

A quilting friend made a quilt out of Liberty fabric - lovely. Enjoy.

My local Quilting Emporia here in town sells Liberty .. but its more dress fabric weight but then there is interfacing!!!

@Iminei - apparently you can get Tana Lawn which is lightweight, but they also do a Lasenby Cotton which is a heavier weight, more suited to quilting. Or so I’ve read when dipping into my book today.

PS yes, it is a lovely slipcover.
