Title: "Sunday Morning Quilts" by Nyberg & Arkison
Post by: LeilaMay on January 15, 2019, 16:16:55 PM
This isn't a newly published book, and so I expect plenty of the P&Q folks are already familiar with it, but Amanda Jean Nyberg and Cheryl Arkison has written this lovely book with the subtitle "Sort, store and use every last bit of your treasured fabric"
If you're like me and have neither the space or the temperament to have a large fabric stash, then ideas of the kinds of quilts that can be made with a myriad of smaller pieces is really helpful.  This book contains good ideas - although probably not new ideas - and quite a few of the patterns are fairly geometric, which I like although I can see it wouldn't suit everyone.

I'd certainly say take a look at it if you see it on a shelf in a fabric shop or at a quilt show  :)

It is a very pleasant book to read through. A nice modern take on scrap quilting. My library has it and it's definitely worth a read.
