To be honest, I really can't be bothered to try and fix them as I'm close to being sick of looking at the wretched thing.

@Wayfarer That is a common feeling when you've finished a quilt. I don't know what wadding you used, but for future reference, if you use cotton wadding (I can recommend Sew Simple super soft cotton), and don't wash it before hand, when you finish the quilt and wash it, the wadding will shrink a bit and give you the 'antique' look and hide all sorts of things.... How do I know this? ;)

Meanwhile, finish it, wash it, then put it out of sight for a week or two. It will look a lot better then.

Hi!  Home from work.  Had a good day.

Went to Mum’s on the way back with Mr P and the younger two Pearlettes, because it’s her birthday.  Had to buy Eid cards for neighbour and lovely colleague.  If it’s Eid tomorrow, I should have about 12 pupils in class.

Hope you’ve had a good day.

@annieeg why don't you take it back to the charity shop as not being of merchantable quality, unless it was marked "sold as seen" they should take it back and give you your money back?

@Greybird sounds like you have good parking. 🚗 🚙

Just back from looking at a 70’s style house in Trowbridge this afternoon with a couple of spaces for cars on the drive.  Interestingly the estate agent had moved to Trowbridge from the Highlands a few years ago so he had lots of interesting information to share about locations etc.

Yes, very true as I have just found out, feeling really anxious about taking it back for them to resolve the issue it looks like they caused during the service.

Well the rule of three is complete.  My bank and ParcelfARCE have messed up and now SpecSavers didn't put dark enough lenses in frames I supplied.  If it wasn't for bad luck I would have no luck at all.

Nice and sunny this morning.
Went to Barton on Sea for a walk along the cliff.  Watched some guy paragliding back and forth.
Went back to the car to get our insulated mugs of coffee and sit outside watching the world go by.
Mmmmmm. No mugs!   They were still on the worktop in the caravan!
But it made it nice and quick to get coffee when we got back.

Sunshine has gone and we’ve had rain.
This afternoon DH has been tidying up outside the caravan.   I washed the decking.  Then i FaceTime'd mum as my uncle was in hospital for a heart op.  So I knew she’d be worried.  Op went extremely well, just hope nothing goes wrong now.
Got something out of the freezer for dinner but it wasn’t what I was expecting.  How?   They are labelled!   :headbang:
