Doesn't the blue band around the badge make it a 1951 centennial model?

And doesn't that make it more desirable (aka more expensive)?

Some people do say so, the centennial badges are rather nice and a little more exclusive

On the other hand I see no bobbins or bobbin case - you'd definitely have to check that out before parting with your money  :)

Replacement bobbins are easy enough to get, teh bobbin case might not be quite so easy.
