I have worked out that I`m going to need about 45 metres of fabric for our new sitting room - and that`s assuming no pattern repeats. There are two very large picture windows. It`s going to be quite a task and expensive so I`m hoping to do it only once. The plan is to do it in the Autumn but I`m doing a bit of preliminary research. I`ve bought from Terry`s Fabrics in the past - ok but I haven`t seen anything suitable. And JustFabrics are now local to me.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I`m hoping I might be able to persuade someone to give me discount for a large order

Try
https://endoflinefabrics.co.uk/ - keep checking as stock changes
https://www.curtainfactoryoutlet.co.uk/
https://www.the-millshop-online.co.uk/curtain-fabric.html
or
https://www.designerfabricoutlet.co.uk/designer-fabrics/
or Ebay where you might find a bargain from one of the shops. Make sure you check whether they are listed as seconds or have any faults though.

Try this one:

They have a lot of ends of lines. Well worth a visit but they now sell online.

Thankyou. Just fabrics and End of line fabrics are quite nearby so hopefully by the autumn I'll be able to visit them

Here are a couple i have used this (http://www.ebaystores.co.uk/pandorasupholstery) eBay shop (she has her own website as well) is good for all things curtains. I have had a roll of 50 metres of top quality lining for £75 won in an auction although she does sell buy it now as well.
this (http://www.curtainsandfabricsonline.com/curtain-fabric-catalogue) is were i ordered a customers fabric from and it was the cheapest site for what she wanted.
this (http://www.merrick-day.com) site is very good for supplies including the very best lining you can buy.

Pity you are not nearer to Immanuels ...their curtain fabric starts at £1 metre... and they have some lovely stuff.

It's worth a look at the Immanuels FB page as they are selling online. They are usually pretty efficient but they have just opened up the physical shop again so have a bit of a backlog on the online orders (ask me how I know!)

I second @Greybird, I bought from Justfabrics for recovering my sofa, I got samples from them for colour matching, good quality and service.

Textile Express (https://www.textileexpressfabrics.co.uk) is another good one - as well as discounts, they have an own brand range that can have some great things in it. I got some amazing cabbage rose fabric from them for £8/metre that looks like it cost £80.
For big windows, another way to think about is to have fixed panels of a fancy fabric at the sides (these can be just one width each), maybe with a matching pelmet, then have curtains that actually pull in a cheap plain or have blinds that go with the side panels. Roman blinds are also much less fabric hungry than curtains.
