What is it with wrap dresses? There are only suitable for standing around, they fall open the moment one sits down or walk.
Or is it just me?

It's good it's gone to a bilingual indie pattern company! If I remember one of the founders has had health issues.

I overlooked the main sections of my new Marcy Tilton top then sewed the centre back to the side backs. I've sewn pocket facings to the fronts then sewn on the pockets to the pocket facings. Will sew the side seams and shoulders tomorrow then I can have a try on. That's always slightly nerve wracking as it's the first chance to see how it looks.

It's all fascinating -  the preparation, the process and the results.   I love the endless possibilities.
The stories of the people who become weavers can be just as interesting.

WovenintheBone (Sam Goates) is an Instagram account I follow.

Turned out to be for very good reason. Thankfully, all turned out better than feared.

Anyhow, I've just had an email from Closet Core saying that Deer and Doe are now under their umbrella, after approaching them in the search for a buyer. There's a blog post about it but I can't get into it, at the moment.

Edit - seems my email is the problem https://blog.deer-and-doe.com/18942-a-new-era-deer-and-doe-is-joining-the-closet-core-patterns-family/

I remember decorating the boys' room in early May, years ago, with sleet and snow hitting the window.
