Hello everyone!  I’m a long time self taught seamstress.  I’ve recently lost my mind and decided to sew my own wedding gown...more posts to follow about that.  That project specifically is what brought me here but in general I’d like to up my skills and be more technically proficient.  So happy to find a forum of lovely wonderful people!

Welcome, @Potaiter!  I'm sure you'll find lots of help friendly here! My wedding dress, and 2 of the 3 bridesmaid dresses, was one of my first major projects, several decades ago. Mine was much simpler than the huge fluffy cupcakes that are in fashion now. I'm not sure I'd attempt one of those! Best of luck with your project. I'm sure it will be beautiful. We can't wait to see pictures!
