Made a new top today... finding a pattern for a woven top is difficult, this is mash up of
Bodice... Burda 6912
Sleeve ...Simplicity 8872
Collar...self drafted
-
Very nice, @Efemera ! I like the fabric. Self drafted collar? :faints:
-
I like that. It's a bit similar to the Style Arc Jules, but without the deep V neckline. I might go for your higher version next time. Good summer sleeves too.
Where did you get that nice fabric and what is it?
-
@SkoutSews It’s cotton from our local department store..Boyes
-
Lovely! Great fabric/design combo.
-
Good mash up. Love the fabric!
-
Looks great, and lovely fabric.

Cotton will be good for the warm weather - and aren't you lucky to have a local source of fabric!
-
It's very nice for a mish mash . You must have a better Boyes than my nearest, I've never seen anything as nice as that in ours
-
@Surest1tch Nor mine!
-
Lovely top, had to laugh at Boyes being a department store.
I buy Moon thread in my local Boyes, and once got some elephant themed batik fabric, which is a lovely cotton.
One day it shall be PJs

finding a pattern for a woven top is difficult,
It is indeed @Efemera!

That'sverynice -sorry, keyboard is playing up!

We have six Boyes stores within 15 minutes driving time and about four more within half an hour.
It is hit and miss.... I bought a nice fleece backed zip up hooded sweatshirt for £12 on Friday... couldn’t have bought the pattern and zip for that amount.

Oh, I like the mini-sleeve. I need to make tops with cap or mini sleeves like this. Great top.
