Title: Tilda - Cloth dolls
Post by: Sizun on April 25, 2019, 13:18:59 PM
Hello ! I've lost my sewing mojo but I recently stumbled upon cloth dolls on the internet and got interested in them.
I'd like to know if Tilda doll is a generic name or a specific brand, at least originally. Is a Tilda made always the same way, with the head and torso cut in one piece and added arms ? Do you have any website or book recommandation if I want to try my hand at making one (or a few !) ?
Thank you for your help.

Tilda is a brand and a certain style of doll. There’s lots of patterns on the internet.

Thank you. Since I posted I discovered Tilda is a fabric brand, branching out into other things such as dolls and quilts. But it seems lots of patterns are circulating on the web so I wasn't 100% sure.
