@Diane They are easy to knit, the pattern is in this book https://shop.actechniques.co.uk/products/confident-knitting-print-and-ebook
My son bought it for me for Mother’s Day and I must say I have knitted quite a few things from it

@Ellabella i can use both but definitely knit quicker with magic loop method.  I have also used the 9inch circulars but they can give my hands cramp if I knit too much

I saw this & I thought you may be interested! / Re: Crewel Work kits
« on: December 23, 2021, 12:31:56 PM »
These are beautiful, I have done a little in the past and if anyone is interested there are some excellent books and patterns  if you don’t want to pay out for a kit.  The raw materials are not so expensive especially if you have the hoops etc. already.

This book has some nice designs https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Beginners-Guide-Crewel-Embroidery-Needlecrafts/dp/085532869X/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2679JQSD10U9J&keywords=crewel+embroidery+books&qid=1640262597&sprefix=Crewel+embroidery+%2Caps%2C80&sr=8-2

They look great and it really doesn’t matter if they match or not as they are beautifully hand made.

Technical Help / Re: So can I ------?

I have done this before but it really does depend on the fabric and the amount and direction  of stretch, sometimes that sort of thing can feel uncomfortable.
