It's a great combination of top and bottom halves for a dress.  Get the fit sorted on the bodice and you can have loads of variations.  Very nice. 

How's the Dutch coming along? :P

I really love that these mix-and-match patterns are staples of KM. It's a basic concept in sewing but it's nice to see it being illustrated like this as frequently in the magazine.

I have a similar summer dress download I should really make it.

Love the shape of the skirt - I wonder if you could make it as a tunic top, ie without a waist, as I don't have one?

Don't see why not..I'm going to raise the waist a few inches...more of an empire line.
