Some have a great level of detail and technical accuracy, which wows me, but others are much simpler and more things I feel I could do myself. I love that your group showed them all

Sew Ruthie Sews' entry #2 Fabric Box
Fabric Box without interfacing from https://jezzeblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/no-interfacing-storage-basket-tutorial.html
The resulting box is about 6 inches wide and 5 inches tall.
I made mine all from the same fabric (scraps from an old curtain), but it would lend itself to a contrast for the lining and could be a great scrap buster.

Yeah I've given up and put the central heating back on today.
Although its not switchover time quite yet I would quite like to have a big try on session and see what needs donating and what might need replacing.

I'm not wearing my really thick winter jumpers, thickest fleecy joggers or polo necks, but the rest of my normal clothes are sill on the go.

I am wondering whether its now just got warm enough to switch over the summer and winter clothes.
I keep 3 plastic tubs on the hard to reach top shelves of the wardrobe with shorts, t-shirts, summer stuff generally, and then when I think its time I pull that stuff out and hang it/have it on more accessible shelves and replace with winter clothes in the tubs.
With a bit of effort I can still access the out of season stuff so its not a huge issue...
What do you think, has the day arrived?

I was going to suggest Pilot Frixion Pens. I've recently started using these and like them a lot.
The line goes away with heat. I normally iron them, but from what you've said that's not going to work for you.
The lines do also rub out with a pencil eraser (the friction of the eraser being used generates just enough local heat to remove the line).
I wonder if a hairdryer would make enough heat? Off to conduct an experiment.

I did finish my palm tree wrap top thingy but although it fits it is not in the least bit flattering on me, so that'll be off to a new home at some point. I could make some alterations to it, but the fabric doesn't suit me anyway so I don't think its worth it.
So today I've been rearranging things in the sewing room so I can put another machine in the cupboard, use an electrical socket that was blocked in, access Burda magazines and etc etc. I can also now reach my guitar/music and my drawing board/large paper which also live in here.
Not quite got to the point where it is better than when I started,but not far off, after that need to decide what to do next. Currently leaning towards doing the next steps on my Mystery quilt as the video came out today.
After a garment wadder experience, quilting is safe!

I had some white jersey fabric printed with black outlines of palm trees. Actually I like a bit of colour in my tops so the fabric languished in the stash. At the weekend I hand coloured all the palm trees in green with a Dylon fabric marker after which I completely lost interest as it took so long.
I also wanted to try a new pattern which needed some alterations which I've also attempted
So now I am going to try cutting the pattern out.....

Hiya folks how are the Home sewing projects going?
I shortened some curtains for the living room, they look good but its not really a make is it.
I have quite a few things planned but my list is getting longer and longer.....
My lovely sewing friend shared this with me and I'd like to have a go
Fabric storage basket (no interfacing)
I also want to make some cushions from the curtain offcuts, some cushions for the bench in the hall and recover the cushion on the sewing room chair. I've also got a partly done office chair recover (nightmare don't ask)....
