@Bodgeitandscarper there is a little plus in green below the poll. Click that, click "Remove vote" and you can start afresh.
Aha!  Had no idea that's what it did!  All done now, thank you Fran and Manuela  :)

Thanks Manuela.  I have voted here as well, but only voted for one item, when I think I could have voted for more?  It doesn't really matter though  :)

I didn't realise that this poll differed from the first in that here you could vote for more than one thing - and now it won't let me as it just shows the results so far.  :(

Personally, I'd buy a unitard and take it from there, but then I'm no expert on this type of clothing!

PS  Is it just me, or does her sticky out leg not meet her other leg in the right place???  It looks like her crotch is way over to one side  :S

There is a Pattern Discussion child board.
Ah, right, I thought there might be a current projects or similar, but when I get my sewing room sorted, I'll know where to put what I'm doing.  I do think it's nice to have threads with the pattern number, and I love to see what people are making  0_0

:(  I really liked the Pattern name/number threads - does this mean we'll no longer have them - or do they just go in the "Wardrobe"?  :S

I would also check the size of your cut out pattern pieces against a similar garment - dunno about other people, but I often find them a bit wide across the shoulders.

If it's an all-over random-ish pattern, than that's no different to using plain fabric.
You need to decide what size you are using, then see which lines on the pattern correspond to that size, then cut along them.  There are those who trace the pattern onto paper then cut that out, but personally, I've never done that in my life.  I handle pattern pieces carefully and have used the same ones over and over again.
Good luck, and I'm sure there will be others along as well to help  0_0

Edit:  Just seen your edit, that fabric looks lovely  :)

I'm always adding pockets!!  I always put patch pockets on the jersey tops I make - I just hem the top edge, then I use wondertape to fold the edges in and more to stick it on the garment.  Then a quick whizz round with the coverstitch and they are done.  The wondertape stabilises jersey beautifully for sewing.

@UttaRetch
It looks like the highest it adjusts to is 94 cm - 94 cm is I think around kitchen worktop height-ish.
The other height settings that it will adjust to according to the blurb are 73 cm, 80 cm, and 87 cm.

Length is 2 m, width is 60 cm.

I'd like to find a way to raise my dining table another 6" because my lower back is screaming 'Buy one'.
I use something like these - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F64E4BQ/ref=s9_acsd_top_hd_bw_b3WYGYJ_c_x_w?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=AK2BKRQMYKD0TJFVRXEV&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=f416b9a7-3796-54d7-b04d-77fdbde8aa44&pf_rd_i=3229408031

I have the folding table and to get it to the right height I put some bed raisers under each leg.

The look a little like upturned plant pots with a depression in the top for the leg.  Just the right height for me and only £2 from the local charity shop.
I use those under the legs of my dining table at the moment for cutting out, so much better when it's higher.
