One of the reasons I was very keen to move is that our new house isn`t far from Higgs and Higgs shop. All that is on hold for a while so I had a little wander over to their website. They have a lot of tempting stuff and this has definitely taken my eye:-

Mmmm luverly.

I have a piece of that, but with dark blue embroidery on (the same) denim chambray. I waited for ages a year ago and they eventually had a sale. I just can't bring myself to commit it to a pattern now! It is as lovely as it looks.

Very nice. I like the look of their fabrics, but haven't yet weakened.
-
Lovely...what would you make with it @sewingj ?
-
@Efemera I've never worked with any sort of border print. I suppose the most obvious thing would be a skirt. What would you do?
-
Swoon.

Mine is going to be a simple shell top.

How about a simple long or three-quarter sleeve tunic, to show off the border on hem and sleeves? From a quick search, something like NL6086 (https://jaycotts.co.uk/collections/patterns-tops/products/nl6086) or Burda 8100? (https://jaycotts.co.uk/collections/patterns-tops/products/bd8100)

If you want something similar but cheaper then I bought this (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1M-NAVY-WHITE-SCOLLOPED-BORDERED-EMBROIDED-DENIM-COTTON-DRESS-FABRIC-58/143240458034?hash=item2159cbef32:g:BGAAAOSwBg5czzZK) last year. He does sell various sized pieces and it is denim as apposed to chambray but not too heavy. I have it earmarked to make a shift dress. Probably this (https://indygojunction.com/collections/dresses/products/indygo-essentials-shift-dress) which I have made a few times.
