Title: sewing retreat - weekend or midweek - residential
Post by: annieeg on February 11, 2019, 18:43:32 PM
Does anyone know of a good residential course (2-3 days) on either quilting or dressmaking?
On a clinician's advice, I've been told to try and get away for a few days...(more mental-stress related than any physical problems).

I could go to my sister's but I really want time on my own and, ideally, with some sewing/craft project so I can totally "lose" myself.

(No point in doing it at home, because domestic responsibilities always take over.)

Any suggestions welcome.
TIA

I was also going to recommend Denman, but @Deafoldbat beat me to it!  I'm going in August myself, (but not a sewing course).
