Thank you Sandra. Very helpful. I need to take it up about 2 inches. What I thought I would do is just take them up a little bit but if I’m not happy with my results I’ll take it to the tailor down the road. Hedging my bets. 🤞🏽

Alterations Advice Please / Sleeves on suede jacket alteration

Hi.  Does anyone have any tips for altering the sleeves on a suede jacket?
They just need to be shorter and there are no fancy buckles or top stitching. I’m presuming I just need to be careful unpicking and cutting it and maybe using a specialised needle?  Just a bit scared to do it.
