Morning
So glad my coffee meet-up was yesterday. It's raining - the sort you can hear!

Oh well, plenty of things to do indoors - including h******rk  :|

Isn't the Festival Finds more about patchwork though?  I think this one is for general sewing.  As you're going to be moving, Ruthie, I'd vote for having a break in August.
Ah, my mistake.
I got confused by

"Does it have to be quilting?    Absolutely not

Any kit/workshop project can be finished ... Knitting, Crocheting, macrame, quilting, sashiko, applique, EPP, Stained Glass, Weaving  .... ad infinitum."

Another vote for extending the July Festival Finds (not that I have any excuse for not getting on with it in July).

Morning
We have sunshine and, having remembered that it is washable, I have the mat from the patio door through the WM and hanging out to dry.

Cloudy here and cool.
I slept OK but my GUAG seems to have left the building.
I have at least managed to load and run the WM.

My official Covid vaccination form arrived today (quicker than I expected) so I have it if I need it.
And I have a delivery of three pairs of shoes to try on.

Wonder if a coffee would help

- with the lack of GUAG, not the shoe trying on.

I quite like the pants with the sash and pockets.
But then I have more than one pants pattern and several half started attempts at a toile that fits me.

Afternoon
Cloudy and cooler here and we had some rain last night.

As I was up fairly early I caught an earlier bus into town, got my shopping, came home and decided to do a run to the tip with a couple of bags of prunings.
Others had a similar idea and there was a short queue, but no real hold up. When I got to the 'garden waste' skip there was a man fishing with a long pole - someone had chucked in some conifer prunings when the staff weren't nearby and left the bin bags wrapped round the bundles. So this poor chap was having to fish them out so he could remove the plastic

Tip run done successfully. They have changed things a bit, but now I know what to do it will be easier next time. I carried on and got petrol while I was out so that's another job I had been putting off done.

Cloudy here and only 17C.

Only plan is possibly, maybe, taking some stuff to the tip. Daft because I have been there several times before so no idea why I am dithering.

OTOH I have just emailed the friend who is talking about setting up a sewing group in the autumn saying to put my name on the list (well, on the 'maybe' list) and, yes, I would like to meet for coffee.

There is hope for me yet  ;)
