I get miffed when wide fit shoes start at size 4  my feet are little squares as they are wide but not long - a bit like the rest of me  0_0

@Iminei it’s for dance. She never stops dancing which may explain why she’s so skinny :loveit: believe it or not she thinks she’s getting fat  :scream:

I’ve been a bit busy so just getting around to starting this. I’m using my Funkifabrics Lycra off cuts and some mesh off cuts to make a 2 piece dance set. I’m using CKC Canyon top and self drafted pants. Pics of fabrics and pattern more to follow.

@Efemera do you think it would work on lycra with a small zigzag stitch or would it need to be straight stitch? It looks lovely and neat and would save me loads of time on dance costumes.

The Show Must Go On / Re: Back At It

I have postponed all of my bookings as the kids would have outgrown their costumes before they next compete. Might take the opportunity to make some ready to wear stuff to use up my ever growing stash. It will also be useful if kids need emergency costumes when we reach the other side of this situation. I'll also need somewhere to escape when DH is at home and driving me crazy. 0_0

Fun with Fabric / Re: Softer thicker dress net - any ideas?
« on: January 26, 2020, 20:25:47 PM »
@Marniesews you might like 27gsm Italian net which is lightweight and very resilient. It's lovely to work with and you can get some colours in 3m width. I can send you some to have a feel if you would like.

Patterns Discussion / Re: PDF paper

I buy a lot of Jalie patterns in pdf format and lately have started sending them for printing A0 because I find them difficult to fold and store with all that sticky tape. As I trace custom sizes from my master pattern it's worth the cost.
