I know this is way, way out of your price range but Franklins have an ex-demo Brother V3 for sale.https://www.franklinsgroup.com/product/brother-v3-3/

Might be of interest to someone else.

I decided to retire German made Henckels as they have dulled. I just ordered a pair of Fiskers Amplify Razoredge scissors. Those and some LED bulbs for my Featherweight arrive tomorrow.  :D

If it doesn't already been done change the old incandescent bulb for a modern LED.

Doh! I still haven't done this but it is needed. The light is the worst thing about the machine.

According to Wikipedia, the pattern is sometimes called “Persian pickle” by Americans, particularly quiltmakers, and “Welsh pear” in Wales. I heard of the latter when I read a book called The Persian Pickle Club.

Pair them up with this fabric. NB: Croft Mill will soon be tipped off about the printing error so for those who miss it, this fabric is advertised for sale at £2500.00 a metre.

Tech Know How / Re: Internal server error

I tried to post a response to a thread and the system wouldn’t cooperate. I eventually received a 110 error message - timed out. Yesterday I sent a PM and kept clicking to send. No response. It did actually get sent but there was no indication of this until I received a reply! I’ll just read and not attempt to respond.

Ha! That one got through!  >:)

I am not sure how I feel about my body double lurking in the corner of the room @Missie. May have to keep it under wraps when not in use.  :o

Which one did you go for and have you found it value for money? TBH I am leaning towards a cheap, non-adjustable because my personal adjustments would not be straightforward.

@Lilian, did you ever acquire a dress form? I realise this is an old thread.
