Hi all. I am trying to source some fabric to make a costume similar to this picture. I have seen it up close and it is some kind of thick see through fabric embellished with sequins/flowers.  Not sure if it is organza. It's too shiny to be organdy. Stiffer than voile.  Any ideas please? Thanks.

Maybe look up authentic Middle Eastern Fabrics or similar. Belly dancing outfit fabrics. Think a male member on here mentioned his wife used to do belly dancing, he could perhaps point you in the right direction.

Lol thanks but I am a belly dancer. It's for a costume for a Turkish ciftitelli. I have tried searching for Turkish embellished fabric but no joy.
