Well done everyone !

@Sandra Well done for sticking to it to the bitter end. For some reason Gilligan's Island kept popping in to my mind as the quilt pieces were revealed.

Thank you for putting all the photos together @Iminei , it seems to be a bit hit or miss as to whether I can see the photos in the thread. They all look amazing and so creative.

Patterns Discussion / Re: Pattern Copying

Our library has Burda magazines, including the patterns, available to borrow. Presumably multiple borrowers can trace patterns and make items from only one copy of the magazine.

I have used a very small piece of microfibre cloth and long tweezers to clean the inside of my overlocker. It seems to help with the static problem.

Have you thought about hiring costumes ?  I guess it would be more expensive but it would save you a lot of work.

I can't quite picture a mead hall in Canberra, sounds like a bit of a challenge to come up with two suitable outfits !

I use a JarKey jar opener to help loosen the lids of jars. It pops the lid to reduce the pressure and then the jar is easier to open.

As a non participant and non quilter please feel free to ignore this but when the Project Linus flyer mentions  "children love to have bright colours in their quilts" I feel that having a lot of neutral and grey tones in the quilts could be a bit dull.

@Lyn-J I also hold both my knitting needles from underneath, I can remember my grandmother knitting like this.
