Hi, I’m new here and fairly new to sewing too. I’ve always had a sewing machine but have only recently got serious about it, so I’m hoping I can learn lots from everyone here. I’m currently struggling with a dance costume so will post for some help when I work out where best to post!

Hi @Abi what kind of dance costumes do you make? I have delved into the world of tutu's and other costumes but always steered clear of leotards  :laughing:

Hi BB! Up until now I’ve only made easy skirts but I’ve just made this Clara costime for my daughter’s production of The Nutcracker. It has an integral leotard and has given me no end of grief!

Welcome! Lovely costume, I imagine leotards are a bit tricky.
