Title: A bit of server slowness this weekend

We've been informed by our hosting provider that they are doing some upgrades this weekend, so there may be slowness.

This is likely to be overnight (probably between 1-4am) and is supposedly going to be mostly on Sunday night.

Just in case you experience any slow-loading pages or image uploads... this is likely the cause.

I've been having complete slowness, says no wifi when it is clearly on etc.  Having to run diagnostics on all the time.  I'm blaming in it on my ageing old banger since if I switch to the MS Surface it has no problems at all. Christmas cannot come too soon for me (apart from having to pay for my pleasures).  I suppose I ought to be grateful it is  still running after nearly 8 years of being hammered.
