I've put the collar on my Katherine Tilton top but inevitably I've been distracted by other things!

Thought I’d do something in the SR but had to change plans.  Got a headache some gave it up.  :(

In the wardrobe / Re: Mood Patterns

I've only made 2 Mood Sewciety patterns so far. The Eucalyptus shorts (actually made 3 of the same shorts pattern) and the Gardenia skirt (made 2 of them so far), and both turned out really well. I really like the fit of them. I plan to make more (a blouse pattern is all printed out).

The instructions are rather "no frills", which I actually like (I can't stand faffing through 40 pages of instructions for an a-line skirt). But youtube is your friend if you need to know how to do any of the things.

Hmmm. The motor went in, and it worked.  Kind of.  I've now discovered that there is a gear spring in the hand wheel that is broken.  Bother!!!  Looks like I'll have to buy a whole handwheel just for that part, if I can find one...

Done a bit more to the striped top but not feeling great, it looks wonky to me so no photo!  Had enough for today.

OOOO nice - the slightly more lightweight version of the old 201K, a marvellous machine!  Absolutely love them, and enjoy the stitches!

Still trying to put my sewing room into a workable space again, why is it whenever we sew using machines they always seem to generate a lot of dust and debris and clutter,  but it is fun to be able to sew so mustn't grumble about clearing up.
