Hi and thanks for adding me into this forum.. I am a sewist of many years since I was a teenager. Now I am older I have been able to afford a lovely new electronic machine and loads of special feet and even embroidery stitches and I hope to gain lots of insight into how to do many things I have not yet tried. I am, fairly good at applique and machine embroidery basics but would love to use some of the cutwork features of machine embroidery and also freemotion embroidery which i have done but need inspiration for ideas to use it not just for stippling on patchwork quilting.
I hope to help others if I can and may seek help if I come across something tricky as I think others may already know how???

Welcome. Are you near Henley? There's a sewing club which meets on the last Saturday of each month in Bracknell if you're interested. We have some members from the Chilterns,. It's a very friendly, informal group. We pay £5 each for hire of the hall & to cover hot drinks, everyone brings food to share. Some people are quilters, some dressmakers, some make exquisite textile art.
