This is a pattern which @b15erk passed on and I've already made 3 pairs of these for different new babies.

Those little boots are gorgeous, no wonder they've been gratefully received. Even I might have a bash at something as small as that (though without a doubt they won't turn out as well as yours have). Is the pattern available to share or are there copyright issues?

They are lovely. When I was sweet 16 in my first job, one of the clients was expecting a late in life first baby and I knitted her some as a gift. The reaction was wonderful so I can just imagine how your bootees were received @annieeg.

I've been looking for a reason to knit these since @annieeg started this thread. When I visited my friend before Christmas, she shared the news that she is going to be a grandma.
