To make a change from full size quilts, I’ve gone a bit smaller for my latest bit of sewing. The pattern is the Sew Tiny Sampler (https://nightquilter.com/2019/03/01/sew-tiny-sampler-pattern-release/) and was stitched using foundation paper piecing (thread reel and sleepy cat for scale).

Oh very dainty. That must have taken some patience.

Oh the patience to sew something that tiny!

Very sweet, @StitchinTime

Oh Good God SIT, Have you nothing else to do ??!!!
Seriously, its gorgeous and I expect it didnt keep trying to escape off the table when you layered it either ?
So you'll be entering this into FOQ this year ????
Im in awe of the patience you must have had and thinking of the not one, but two, miniature quilt books I received for Christmas this year ...... Mmmmnnnnnn
-
Ooooh well done, lovely. Maybe something like that could go on my 'to do 'list.
-
Replace “patience” with “swearing” and you’ll be nearer the construction process, though it was very easy to layer it.
As to entering a quilt for FOQ, I’d rather spend the time making a quilt or two for Project Linus than a show standard quilt.

@Iminei two miniature quilt books?? :o I hope not the same... ><
-
No completely different and both loved x

Beautiful! How did those tiny bits not disappear into the sewing machine? I rarely sew tiny things, but when I do I find they poke down into the hole under the needle. You must be using a very fine and sharp needle. Congratulations on having the patience and skill to do it.
-
@Sheilago This was done using foundation paper piecing so the small pieces of fabric were stitched onto a larger piece of paper. I must admit that I didn’t bother to change to a finer needle, but I did use a 60 wt thread.

Aha, @StitchinTime , I’ve never tried foundation paper piecing, but it clearly gives a great result. :D
