Title: 320k oddity Hastings or St Leonard’s on sea
Post by: Roger on February 03, 2018, 20:39:43 PM

Here’s an odd one- it’s a brown 320k collection only. But no cable (should be easy to replace) it also doesn’t have a Cam reader or a set of piano keys- it doesn’t look like they were removed just that they’re not part of this model. I have heard of this with 306 &319 but not a 320... but I also haven’t seen a brown 320.

Also it’s been serviced by Alex Askarov (sp) of Sewalot fame!

It looks exactly like the later 206, I think they were about the same as 320. Same type of bobbin case, race and hook. I can't make out the numbers under the stitch length lever.

I couldn’t quite make them out either. But I figured it’s not a professional sewing machine seller so thought they probably just read them off.

It is a funny one.

Cool!

He always seems very knowledgeable. I use his site a lot to get insight on machines.

He is the main reason why I aimed for a 201 when I was looking for an all metal machine the first time. Archaic Arcane had a bit to do with it too, she has some nice blog posts and videos. Since then I have tried a few others, but it's still my favorite. I like that repair guys take on any machine we bring along, even if it isn't the latest or the fanciest. An expert can guide us to the gems waiting to be found :- )
