Title: Hand press for poppers
Post by: jk1066 on August 15, 2018, 09:20:14 AM
Can anyone recommend a tool.? looking online there are many that look similar but cost anything from £20 to £120 or more. I'd like something that is solid and not plastic. I've managed to put  poppers on clothing but with great difficulty and hope someone has some good suggestions.
Many thanks

Do you mean Kam snaps? I just bought some Kam branded pliers which are so much easier to use than the generic ones I seem to have lost, so for pliers it's worth going for the real thing. I've never had a proper press so can't recommend one.

There's also one called a Prym Vario plus which was recommended on here a while ago by someone.  I have got one but haven't used it yet.  I've shied away from snaps a bit since a total disaster with some last year before I got the pliers.
